All code Friday…

I just received a rejection email from a publisher. They were very kind and polite but maybe I’m not cut out to be a published author -yet. So I’ve decided to pour more effort into my Bible app, vrs instead. I’ve designed the interface. 2 columns side to side on an iPad screen in landscape. The left being search results and the right, your notes. Tapping search verses brings up relevant notes you’ve made. Tapping a note brings up past searches. There will be a full chapter read button. And that’s about it! More later…

Coding vrs is rolling along slowly. I’m processing the JSON structure into an array, helped along by articles from tutorials sites. The mind fighting carries on. Not sure I can achieve much today.

Turns out we gave out a good judgement to both sides, east and west, to end the mind wars soon, possibly. I broke from work (and talk) to make a pasta and avocado lunch for the folks in a hurry. Still watching YouTube videos as a distraction.

Am putting in an hour of coding before I turn in for the night. A long day of mind altercations. Some people take their souls / salvation very seriously. Mostly they did a lot of wrong and are impure. Want to lay out the interface to vrs, and maybe get the JSON read in tonight. More later…

Watching SwiftUI coding videos online. Lots to do before I can release vrs. Will head out for walking exercise soon. Carry on when I come home. Wearing my Orient Tristar on faux leather. It gained 3s over 12 hours. +6s / day is pretty good for a budget auto like this. Over 100RM cheaper than Seiko 5.

Back from walking. Bought tennis racket dampeners from Decathlon. Felt really thirsty and hungry afterwards. Tomorrow may be going out to the mall as Mom is buying stuff for the new house. Coding is going slow as I learn more about the dynamic view elements in iOS 16+. May need to modify my app design a lot. Meanwhile, relatives and friends present me their personal / relational problems to solve. God is reasonable. He will save those he loves.
