Transferred my BSD workstation to my bedroom for easy access. Feel like taking it to the new house too. It’s more convenient than a laptop to do serious, long duration work on.
Worked out twice today in preparation for my blood test tomorrow. I have high sugar and cholesterol for some reason. I am also a bit overweight. Haven’t eaten any sugary foods for 2 days. I will be quite surprised if I have prediabetes and hypertension like Dad. Can feel sugar lovers waiting for me to binge. Feels like being a rabbit around wolves.
My ankle is much healed. I can walk normally now. Got to be careful of twisting my heel, getting in and out of the car. I have settled the mood / style (cheerful and optimistic), and plot of my YA novella. It also has a title and proper protagonists who are teenagers, Jerome and Barbara. I hope I don’t get passed over for Rapture, being so absorbed with work and materialism. Talked a lot about good and evil, and what saves or dooms a soul. Some were not moved at all, just like in the days of Noah! More later…
Dad informed me that my BLOOD TEST isn't tomorrow. I can take it easy and be my sloppy self. Feel more like working when your computer has to STAY on a desk unlike a laptop or tablet. Having a dedicated workstation is motivating. Also my mechanical switch keyboard is much nicer to type with. Wondering if I should switch from the default ksh to zsh or tcsh. What do OpenBSD users recommend?
Slovak PM was shot in an assassination attempt. He was pro-Russia. The storm gathers.
