Writing has stalled for 24 hours…

I don’t know if I can make a 25th October deadline for finishing my novella. But as I mentioned, 4 hours of writing a day in 8 sessions, disciplined, will eventually surmount the preventers. And as sure as sin breeds in these end times, the Liew witches will have power.

 

Managed to finish chp8 against the odds. Starting on chp9 this evening. Do all of it if possible. In this chapter, the witch reveals herself and debates Sage and his students. It will be a rollicking chapter full of repartee, magic toys, and physical / sexual adventure, and should be good fun to write. In this chapter, many character arcs come of age, to finish in the final 3 chapters.

Took a warm shower and am changed into fresh whites for sleep. The outline for chp9:

1. Eve and Mark are approached by harmless helpful people -and they are genuine. Behind these kind, fellow seekers, lurks something evil, and it is a coven of 3 fully-trained witches.
   
2. Eve gets it on with a handsome stranger who's visited the monastery before and Mark is attended to by a faith healer who is beautiful as she is talented.
3. Claire, dejected, gets into an argument with seemingly blessed Mandy and they fall out. Later, Claire, who is more athletic, rescues Mandy from the witches and they talk frankly about many things.
   
4. Sage is struck by something -a poison dart? And he retreats into the brush forest to look for the healing 'Edelweiss' blossom.

Took a short nap while charging the ThinkPad but it looks uncertain I will write tonight. Judgementalism has to be tackled.

All fired up to write today. Feeling less burnt out. Worked out and will diet over the next 2 weeks, taking light breakfasts and lunches, no snacks. Wearing my bioplastic Swatch Sistem51, circa 640RM / $148. Always cheers me up. Will be going out soon with the folks to buy a washing machine / dryer.

Writing so much logic into my novella left me feeling dazed and overstretched. Took a warm morning shower to cool down and put on the a/c to relax. Will write more after lunch. May head to the shoebox as well and write from there tho usually it is a place of never-ending arguments with the West. 

Did a lot of plotting for the final 4 chapters before committing to write. A lot happens in these last 8k words and it has to feel right, wholesome, and sacrificing. Maybe the delaying of my novella helped it.
