Yesterday’s psych clinic visit went well. We had dinner around there, saves effort cooking. Food was good. Soon we’ll be out for lunch at the downtown mall. Want to buy a watch strap for my Promaster.
Back from the mall. Good timing as I had to loo. Didn’t buy my Promaster a new strap, but got one for my Tissot, a present from Mom I should wear more often. 80RM Bonetti WR faux(?) leather. Very soft and pliable. May get a new dull green / beige NATO for my 077j later.
Can’t wait to watch the US elections. Many will be -it’s historic.
…
Was looking at some photos of Seiko divers on drab-looking tan and green straps and I think they go quite well. However, trying that approach on a PRS failed completely. It has to have plush leather(ette) and contrast stitching. Using less aircond. Tonight, may make noodles for the folks with kimchi.
Dinner was good. Worked out and am feeling fit. Can feel ill people around me clinging on to my life force. I hope… I will be strong enough for them until our rapture day.
Ordered the dull green NATO after all, just $4.50 -was a no brainer. Why suffer the frayed Daiso strap in a rather odd shade of olive green. Hope it arrives tomorrow then I can share some pics. Aside from my PRS and 077j, I also like wearing my Mudman solar for places where I must be nondescript, and on adventures out of town. I wear my Seiko 077j diver on rainy days, in showers, casual situations, my PRS, when I need to look smart / formal. Sad to say, most of my other ~12 watches get little wrist time. I gave my Protrek to my cousin who hikes. An old friend -both.
Been thinking what it’s like to die young, or be dragged through numerous medical treatments while being ill and pounded. Master Paul Ng warns dragons to watch out for health problems in 2025. But mostly these are 1952-ers. I will apparently seek solitude over socializing. Perhaps so.
