Dropped Dad off at the hospital where he’ll be getting a pacemaker. We’re all excited to see him again on Thursday. Will he be a changed man? Will the evil steamroll God’s providence. How frail it sometimes seems.
More pushes by The Donald towards the 3rd Temple so many expect. But already I’m feeling the effects of my sedatives and have to lie down…

Wednesday started with a ton of (thankfully) odorless gas and no mess. Hope I won't be constipated. Dad is still at the hospital with Sis. His pacemaker procedure is scheduled for today. Right now, my heart rate is around 60 bpm. His was over 100 and below 40, alternating. This apparently is pre-heart failure. Wonder how he got that but he is 76 this year and most of my family has similar cardiovascular problems.

I got Arch Linux installed and running well on the Aspire netbook with the dodgy display. Used mostly low-end software on it as 4GB RAM doesn't cut it these days -even with Ubuntu. But Arch will run with 2GB quite easily. My WM is labwc, I compiled from AUR, textadept as my editor, and run the foot terminal, all on Wayland / pipewire. Hibernate now works and wakes fast. Taking "time off" to consider TinyLang in the back of my mind.
