This is a very simple and general 1-page chart that runs from FM, GM, AM, DM, EM, F#M, BbM, and down from 1st to 7th fret. It's not meant to be comprehensive but a good start for kids and older beginners to learn the guitar without tears / fear.
Chords are described by their emotion -how they sound to the heart, and thus which a player would choose as a continuation. IMHO it should only take a few hours to master fretting the guitar, then begin training at an intermediate level.
You can download the chart here: guitarcheat.pdf and I will also be learning along -which is one reason I made it -I need it too.
I made the chart in a haze of buzzing thoughts and so I had to redo it (for legibility), realizing I forget what was what. The numbers in brackets are string numbers with 1 being the lowest bass and 6 being the highest treble. The other numbers with arrows (sometimes circled) are fret numbers, and the spidery diagrams are string numbers.
I cannot remember why I chose these 7 keys and not added more. But IIRC, the other keys didn't seem very necessary to learn after I described the ones I selected.
Retirement rocks. More later...
Yet to fashion my quiver. Being lazy after wrapping up TeLL. Well, no hurry. After all, I have all the parts I need ready in my room. Been wondering whether I should live a lower key life. Staying away from luxuries and going low-end all the time. It is also an appealing concept. To live poor.
Today, I retired my disability card and used the train token machine to get me to Taman Jaya where there is a flea market. Cost 1.50RM, Came home after a long walk to Asia Jaya and rode home from there. The sun healed my skin, not being too hot as it usually is at 4-6pm. Feeling good after all that exercise. I even climbed a high pedestrian overpass. Can't wait for lunch. Mom is making noodles and a broth of some sort.
