My new favorite pen…

Isomars Technoart. A rOtring-like drawing pen, made in India. Just 37RM at Popular. I got this to replace my transparent Pilot Kakuno fountain pen that I gave my niece.

On first test, the inkflow was poor but subsequent writing tests prove that it is just as competent as the big-name brands out there. In fact, it glides over the paper without needing pressure. Which is lighter still than a f.p. I also like the refillable reservoir instead of the Kakuno's cartridge system.

I did gift my niece a pack of 6 cartridges, tho. Somehow she likes the f.p. a lot.

The Isomars is roughly half price of the Isograph and features the same screw down cap and barrel altho the cap's pocket clip which is removable has no foolproof fix-down unlike the rOtring's cap. And while the cap is aesthetically stubby enough, I can't help hankering after the barrel ones on the original rOtrings. I noticed that the plastic of the Isomars is also inferior and shows some chipping.

Not having any Isomars ink, I used Herlitz drawing ink which works well (so far). Instructions for the Isomars are to run the pen a little every so often so it doesn't gum up inside. There are also pretty 'scary' instructions on how to clean the nib assembly -using a bowl of water and Isomars cleaning fluid. Sure hope I won't have to do that.

Yes, it's wonderful to have a stylograph again for a nice price.

Other news, the British are going ballistic with their telepathy, having engineered quite a few losses among my people (Asians) since we counted this morning. Not sure what they're up to or why they need everyone to kowtow to their king and to bear and die from their loads of guilt, behind our backs. Logically, we reduced their powers substantially while less moral Asians took the opportunity to permanently damage the UK's mind structure. War is like that. We play what we have and hope to survive. Thx brothers, may we all make it, fighting for one another.

The quiver I’m designing uses some magnets and steel bits as seen above. It also uses 3M sticky pads so it’ll be more secure. The metal clips will attach to the bar magnet (left) which will attach to the disc in the center, being stuck onto the bow sight mounting. The 4 coin magnets will be used for attachment to clothing or belt etc.
