A request came in to talk about money -earning it, having enough to go on. And it's not the first time I've been asked how to make enough by Americans and Malays too.
Since we are in Christian space (I am a Christian), we might as well go thru the 5 ways money appears magically in our hands,
- Money transfers from old times to new. Do not squander it. If you see someone squander it, then pick it up if you can roll some out of their property, ideas, etc. Yes, for the Christian, money is an opportunity for prayer -I found something someone doesn't care about but the Lord does.
- Money come by saving and investing in ventures that spread Gospel. The Christian market is a huge one and those who know how to teach better, live cleaner, can share their testimony. There are a lot of junk testimonies but a life lived well is money in waiting. Tell your story, write that book.
- Talent in Christian communities is here and there good. Be associated with talented people to earn more money, but really, it is a joy to fill the world with the Lord's grace and love -in worship to Him.
- Social media is not a good way for the Christian to move in. Rumors are, that soon SM is going to be limited and perhaps marked Beast territory. I would say, if you are a writer, keep writing on your personal blog. I am here, on DogBlots.blogger.com, where sometimes hundreds of people gather to read an article I wrote -in 24 hours.
- Christians help one another. I am known among the Chinese as 'mou kuai yoong' -a worthless person but I have a talent -it is inspiring others to improve. I am some kind of editor / producer for creative work who never gets paid. Don't be shy to ask a Christian for help -he may point you to people like me, and I to others you may need as well.
