5am and wide awake…

I did my workout, brushed, took my meds and am waiting for sleep. Spent the night in battles with the very evil and corrupted Liew witches. Almost did no writing. Looks like I will have to divide the workload again if I am to make any progress. Just 1k words a day. Writing SDU has been a lesson for me. I love to rush things, and conversely to procrastinate. Now I have to be organized and plan ahead.

Thought I would eat something but then I’d be bloated. Yea, the fried rice I cooked yesterday was good. So today, I will write the first selah. 3 more to go but that’s for tomorrow to worry about. I feel my voice has changed across the circa 200 pages. My mood changed 70% thru, and different people were riding with me. I hope it still reads contiguously.

Popped open the windows to ventilate my room. Will probably turn in by 6am. Will write!

The second selah is a bit harder. Involving another Christian concept, that the blood of one man covers all -so illogical that the darkness does not understand. In between, I fleshed out Marty’s character a bit more. I think even more would be good. Should be done before dinner time, now past 1pm. Will walk to the bank later to buy more books written by friends. Maybe 5pm.

I’m unable to hit 44k words. Just around 42.5k. Sucks. But there’s no sense writing beyond the story, i.e. filler.

Must remember that my new neighbors had started and escalated a fight urged on by the Liew witchy 6. It wasn’t my intention to give them a hard time. They well know the body snatchers who cause mishaps such as sneezing.

Am working hard on SDU. Maybe wrap up tonight, late, catch the England match at 4am as well.

...

Bought my friend Lilian's (not LiLian the witch) book, Perils of Sea and Sky. My initial review is that it is readable and well-written / polished. I take issue with the precise set which shows the intrepid captain alone and somewhat masculine. Perhaps a justification would be nice to have -that she had a mechanical arm or leg or an artificial eye, or an impediment like Jack Sparrow.

Other than that, it's a good read. Next month, I will have to buy Christy's book on witches and magic. Books by friends *sigh*. On to writing my funnel novel.

I’m down to the last 1k words for the final chapter! But it’s circa 7pm and time for dinner. Will work on SDU afterwards then sleep circa 9-10pm to wake by 4am for the match.

I am so relieved to finally finish my very first novel. [there is an unedited passage I’m still working in about the soul, spirit, and God -a little awkward of an infodrop]

Slept on it and missed the 1st half of the England game as well. Am now starting the editing process to finish circa Friday in MS Office 365 which I rented for just one month. Using the AI (CoPilot) to catch errors -it detected lotsa mistakes, makes up for my poor memory and concentration due to stroke back in 2006-2007. The plot, scenes and wordings are not AI written tho.

Can’t believe over 1.2k people visited this blog yesterday. What could they be hoping for?

I have 500RM to spend over July. It’s been a week since my Arip jab. 5 months till my next hospital psych clinic visit. There isn’t much I want to buy, just to see Jesus come.

Will be switching to Office 365 tonight, begin editing with CoPilot’s help. Should take 2 days.

Was up to catch the 6am football. A brilliant game, Morroco vs Haiti, 2:2 so far. Also corrected all the spelling and grammar errors in SDU. Today, concentrate on structure and style ahead of release tonight.

Liew witches being beaten back, while the British beat them off. They played on high stakes immature emotions, hustled kids then parents, wove a web of dependencies, made a scapegoat. This will end with nerve punishment.

Did some good editing work to round off the last chapter which has supernatural overtones. Jesus makes a visit and speaks a wisdom in parable. Will run tomorrow, work out before lunch. Afternoon, resume editing after watching Korea-South Africa.
