Dad’s iPhone 7 which we got in 2019 is busted. It was second hand from the Digital Mall. He is looking at an Android Samsung or Huawei. Our family knows next to nothing about today’s tech that younger people are accustomed to. It is a matter of some importance to have a working phone due to eWallet and smart parking, licenses, government services etc.
I ordered COD, 2 pairs of foam ear tips which are shipped from China. Supposed to be good quality. Meanwhile, the end times madness carries on at urgent pace. There are pushers, judgmental kids, followers, dirty talkers, every ill imaginable in the mindspaces and they are all organized and coordinating their attacks. Will spend today unravelling these sinners. Hopefully it works. More later…
Dad got himself a midrange 5G Samsung. 8MB RAM, 256GB storage, 3 camera lenses, oversized Amoled screen. I helped setup his apps and contacts. He loves to use Weather. While poking around in it, I felt what it must be like to be upper class. This phone was SMOOTH. A joy to commute with, with its 5000mAh battery. For 1.2kRM, it’s our family’s most expensive phone. Second is Mom’s Oppo for 900RM, and lastly my Nokia at 300RM. looking to get Dad a plastic screen protector soon.
